Robertson brought her experience as an anti-violence advocate to facilitate a beading circle for women and femme identified folks to learn beading techniques, talk about kinship and the relationship between land and the violence that women and femme identified folks experience because of cis heteropatriarchy. Through the threading of beading, community is built among folks.
Registered participants received a copy of the book and an art making kit through the Los Feliz Library.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”72px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” background_animation=”none”][vc_column][vc_column_text]
